Do your courses cover everything I need to know for the exam?

Yes. Our courses teach all of the topics that you’ll need to understand in order to pass your state insurance exam. You will need to dedicate the time necessary to fully comprehend the course material.

Will this course work on my device?

Our courses are cross-browser tested, and work great with Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari and Internet Explorer 7 or greater. Access your online course anytime, anywhere with an internet connection using your PC, tablet or smartphone.

Do the agents and adjusters have the same exam, since they take the same course?

No. There are two separate exams, both consist of multiple choice test questions. Adjusters have a separate section of course content designed specifically for their exam. Be sure to register for the correct exam at the time of scheduling.

What if I have questions while completing this online insurance course?

Licensed instructors are available 7 days a week throughout your entire 90 day enrollment​ period to answer your questions. You can contact us by phone or send an email to schedule a phone consultation. Please allow 24 -48 business hours for a reply.

​Can I complete my coursework at my own pace?

Yes. Our courses are designed to allow you to study at your pace, and take the time you need to feel confident in understanding the course material. We provide a 90 day enrollment period which begins on the day you begin your coursework. If you do not pass your Course Final Exam on your first attempt, you are able to take it as many times as you need, within the above mentioned 90 days, until you pass your exam.

How long does it take to complete my insurance course?

You are able to complete your course at your pace. Depending on your pace and retention of the course material, you may finish your course in just a few days, or take the entire 90 day enrollment period to complete your course.

Key Terms

Insurance Agent:

A licensed professional authorized to sell, solicit, and negotiate insurance policies on behalf of one or more insurance companies. Agents help customers identify insurance needs, select appropriate coverage, complete applications, and maintain their policies.

Subagent: 

A person who is authorized to perform insurance-related activities under the authority or appointment of another licensed insurance agent or agency, subject to applicable state licensing laws. The exact legal meaning and licensing requirements for a subagent vary by state.

Insurance Adjuster:

A person who investigates and evaluates insurance claims to determine the extent of an insurance company's responsibility for a covered loss. An adjuster may inspect damage, review documents, interview involved parties, estimate losses, and assist in determining claim payments.

Personal Lines Insurance Agent: 

A licensed insurance agent who specializes in insurance products designed primarily for individuals and families rather than businesses. Personal lines commonly include personal auto, homeowners, renters, condominium, personal umbrella, motorcycle, and similar personal insurance products.

Public Adjuster: 

A licensed insurance professional who represents the policyholder, rather than the insurance company, in the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of an insurance claim. Public adjusters are generally hired and paid by the insured.
